The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program was developed in 2008 after Illinois lawmakers signed a rate relief act to encourage action through education, and to provide financial incentives to offset the cost of energy-saving upgrades. Since its inception, the Program has saved customers like you over $10 million in combined energy savings. Our goal continues to remain the same as it did in the beginning of the Program — to help our customers improve comfort, manage usage, and reduce costs.
