Ameren Illinois offers On-Bill Financing to help customers manage the costs of energy efficiency upgrades.
What is On-Bill Financing?
On-Bill Financing is offered as a way of funding energy efficiency projects a Residential customer may wish to complete for their home. For customers and energy efficiency projects that qualify for On-Bill Financing, Ameren Illinois will pay the out-of-pocket cost upfront, then the customer will utilize On-Bill Financing to repay the loan, with interest, by submitting regular payments through their existing Ameren Illinois energy bill.

Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program staff will confirm your preferred or assigned Program Ally, your intent to move forward on the project and your eligibility to participate in On-Bill Financing.
Your preferred or assigned Program Ally will contact your to schedule a Home Energy Assessment to determine project eligibility.
After your Program Ally has confirmed project eligibility, you can apply for On-Bill Financing at any time by clicking here.
Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program staff will contact you regarding your On-Bill Financing application approval.
