Ameren Illinois is offering K-12 public school districts a comprehensive, expert-led report that will provide a roadmap toward energy savings and creating a healthier learning environment for students while meeting state energy goals. This report is offered at no cost.
Get financial support for your school to help you implement the upgrades recommended in your report. These funding resources are through federal, state and local programs designed to make improvements more affordable and achievable.
Public School Carbon-Free Assessment (PSCFA) Program
What does Ameren Illinois provide?
Each school district will receive a comprehensive report that will identify measures within the district for clean energy upgrades.
What are the benefits of the Carbon-Free Assessment?
- Energy efficiency savings opportunities
- Evaluation/inspection of mechanical insulation and building envelope
- Solar energy potential
- Infrastructure required to support electrification of space/water heating
- Infrastructure required to support electrification of schools’ transportation needs
- Investments required to achieve WELL or similar certification
Who is eligible for the free Carbon-Free Assessment?
K-12 public schools may be eligible to receive a no-cost Carbon-Free Assessment. Simply complete the Enrollment Form below to get started.
Not a K-12 public school? You may qualify for financial incentives for energy efficiency projects through the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program.
