The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program was developed in 2008 after Illinois lawmakers signed a rate relief act to encourage action through education and provide financial incentives to offset the cost of energy-saving upgrades.
All Ameren Illinois customers have an energy efficiency rider on their utility bills. That money is then redistributed back to customers through financial incentives.
All non-residential customers who have electricity or natural gas delivered through Ameren Illinois are eligible to receive financial incentives toward energy-saving equipment upgrades, including public sector facilities. The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program offers incentives for a wide range of energy efficiency projects. The Incentive Reference Guide lists all current Standard incentive offerings for non-residential customers. Visit the Business Forms Library to view all Program incentive applications.

The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program does not currently offer financial incentives for solar or other renewable energy projects. However, information about rebates, net metering, community solar and more can be found at the Ameren Illinois Renewables Center or by emailing RenewablesIllinois@ameren.com.
