Guess Who’s Serving up More Ways to Save?

In addition to being a home renovation and energy efficiency expert, Matt Muenster also knows his way around a kitchen. At least when it comes to finding little ways to save lots of energy, that is.

You may not realize it, but matching the size of your pots to your cooktop burners can save energy and money. It’s a simple step that can save you over $36 a year if you have an electric range and $18 if you have gas.

Hungry for another dinnertime tip? Make sure you conserve heat by cooking multiple items in the oven at once.

Of course, the kitchen isn’t the only place you can turn energy-saving ideas into dollar-saving results. Check out another “Energy Savings Made Easy” video to see where else you can start saving.
