The Athens Public Library will host a community resource fair in conjunction with Meet the Teacher for elementary and middle school kids and their parents. Local organizations, churches and businesses from the community will be set up.

Children’s Safety Expo 2025

This year’s event will feature over 50 vendors, a touch-a-truck, live demonstrations every 30 minutes, face painting and an up-close look at the MedForce Medical Helicopter landing. This event is free and open to the public.

I will be presented information about HEIQ and other beneficial Ameren programs. The target audience are seniors in the East St. Louis area.

Empowerment Opportunity Center Senior Nutrition

Empowerment Opportunity Center 360 E Marietta St, Decatur

Neti’s Place Senior Center provides FREE nutritious meals to individuals aged 55+ every Monday – Friday. We will be providing Residential EE education to seniors.

2nd Annual Resource Fair

Bond County Senior Center 1001 E Harris Ave, Greenville

This event is a free event, open to the community hosted by the Bond County Senior Center. Local organizations and businesses will be offering information not only geared toward seniors (55+) but the general public as well. Light refreshments and snacks provided.

Dine with a Doc® is a FREE program that welcomes the local senior public to getting to hear an educational topic while enjoying a complimentary lunch. Various community businesses also participate by donating door prizes and providing education about ways they may help you as well.

Summit of Hope

Power of Change Christian Church 2348 Jerome Ln, Cahokia

The Summit of Hope is a community expo, bringing together local service providers to create a "one-stop" environment for invited parolees and probationers to obtain necessary assistance to move past barriers.

Manual High School College and Career Fair Expo

Manual High School 811 S Griswold St, Peoria

This event is open to students who are interested in exploring career opportunities and is open to over 500 students in the area. It will include local recruiting companies.
