Keynote Speaker
Nora Wang, Ph.D.
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
Dr. Wang is a chief engineer and team lead at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. She has fifteen years of research experience in building energy efficiency and sustainability. She received her doctorate in architecture and her research was focused on daylighting and human behavior. Since joining PNNL in 2010, she has led a variety of research projects that are critical to meeting the Department of Energy’s aggressive energy goals, such as Building Energy Asset Score — a national standardized tool for assessing the physical and structural energy efficiency of commercial and multifamily residential buildings; Connected Homes that allows in-home smart devices to transact energy with utilities and other homes. She recently developed a new initiative to integrate health and energy efficiency for federal agencies.
