Resource Carnival

Central IL Senior Celebration

Orr Building at the IL State Fairground 66 4 H Rd., Springfield

Come be a part of the 2024 Central Illinois Senior Celebration at the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. This year's theme is "Powered by Connection" and will feature some great exhibitors, health screenings and entertainment! Admission is free with the donation of a canned food item.

Peoria Public Works Open House

Peoria Public Works 3505 N Dries Ln., Peoria

The Public Works Open House is an all-ages, family event. Attendees will learn about the department’s operations through interactive demonstrations, displays, and games. Multiple community partners will also be present with fun, educational exhibits.

PCCEO Community Resource Fair

PCCEO Head Start (Webster location) 923 W Millman St., Peoria

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about programs and how to apply to services such as: LIHEAP, Peoria Area Food Bank, Head Start and Early Head Start, Prescription Assistance, Energy Efficiency Program HEIQ, Emergency/Community Services, etc.

Congregate Meal

Senior Luncheon, open to the public. Meals are published in advance and reservations are accepted until 4 p.m. the day before the meal is served. Donations to aid in the cost of the meals are appreciated.

Oak St Health is hosting an event for active Seniors still living in their homes. Specifically, homeowners and renters in Peoria and the surrounding area. The idea of the event is to provide meaningful community resources and resources for them to be socially active as well at a low cost or free.
