Our Mission
Energize Your Town is an initiative designed to be a resource for a community we serve to help customers reduce their energy usage and empower a brighter future. Through dedicated time with Program staff, support, education and financial incentives, Energize Your Town ensures that energy efficiency is made easy for residents and businesses.
Energize Your Town collaborates with local leadership and organizations to identify opportunities, challenges and specific energy efficiency projects for the community. Through the Program, Energize Your Town will deliver tailored energy efficiency improvements that maximize energy savings, comfort, and health and safety benefits for residential and business customers.
Energize Your Town has selected Taylorville, Illinois as the community for 2026!

The Program Ally has completed the weatherization work on my home here in Taylorville and they did a very good job in all that they completed. The house feels a lot warmer and more quiet after the insulation they completed. They even did a good job of clean up which is always appreciated.
